New Jersey Hospital Association Cover NJ Program
About New Jersey Hospital Association Cover NJ Program
New Jersey is home to more than 428,000 Veterans, and for many, accessing the care they need and deserve can be difficult. That’s why NJHA has enlisted the help of Veteran Navigators to address the needs of the special men and women who have served our country.
These navigators are trained in getting Veterans in South Jersey signed up for health insurance, mental health first aid and coaching former service members on getting the most out of their healthcare.
They also work to counsel “civilian” healthcare providers on the unique culture and needs of military Veterans.
If you have served our country and are not getting the care you have earned, please reach out to one of our navigators. They are available to help in Camden, Gloucester, Burlington, Ocean and Monmouth counties.
Our Navigators
NJHA’s Health Research and Educational Trust first launched its veteran navigator program in 2013 to hire former U.S. servicemen and women and train them to assist consumers in exploring new insurance options under the Affordable Care Act. Since then, they have continued to help N.J. residents access services to support good health, from insurance enrollment to mental health care.
