About Family and Children's Services, Inc.
The Transforming Trauma Program assists children and their caregivers to develop more adaptive coping skills to manage traumatic stress symptoms and distress.
Caregivers and their children will receive education about different types of trauma, develop relaxation and coping skills and discuss and process thoughts and feelings that many times get in the way of healing.
Lastly, personal safety skills will be taught and practiced. Family and Children’s Services looks forward to supporting a family’s healing and growth. FACS staff are trained to use evidence-based treatment.
